Robyn Hitchcock is one of England&#8217;s most enduring contemporary singer/songwriters and live performers. A surrealist poet, talented guitarist, cult artist and musician&#8217;s musician, Hitchcock is among alternative rock&#8217;s father figures and is the closest thing the genre has to a Bob Dylan (not coincidentally his biggest musical inspiration).
Since founding the art-rock band The Soft Boys in 1976, Robyn has recorded more than 20 albums as well as starred in Storefront Hitchcock an in-concert film recorded in New York and directed by Jonathan Demme.
Blending folk and psychedelia with a wry British nihilism, Robyn describes his songs as &#8220;paintings you can listen to.&#8221; His most recent album The Man Upstairs is a bittersweet love letter to a vanishing world. Produced by legendary folk-rock svengali Joe Boyd (Pink Floyd, Nick Drake) the album was critically acclaimed by Mojo, Uncut and The Quietus.

The recipient of the Excellence Fellowship at UNC Greensboro, she is currently pursuing a PhD in English while teaching at the North Carolina Governor&#8217;s School.

Whitmer Thomas is a comedian, actor, and filmmaker from Gulf Shores, Alabama. His new comedy film, <a href="https://thecivildead.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Civil Dead</a>, which he co-wrote, co-produced and co-stars in with his writing partner/best friend Clay Tatum (who also directed), is now in theaters. His special Whitmer Thomas: The Golden One was released on HBO in 2020, produced by Bo Burnham, Chris Storer, and A24, and was directed by Thomas and Clay Tatum. Thomas and Tatum developed their filmmaking skills making shorts for their long-running monthly residency at the Satellite in Silverlake called PowerViolence, which has now been taken over by Whitmer Thomas &amp; Pals at Largo, featuring some of the biggest names in comedy performing today. Thomas and Tatum co-produced, voiced, and wrote the ADHD animated series Stone Quackers on FXX (now available on Hulu), featuring John C. Reilly. Following the premiere of his special on HBO, SubPop Records released its original music, Songs from The Golden One, on their imprint label Hardly Art in stores April 2020. The show has been performed to sold out venues in NYC, LA, Philly, Chicago, Seattle, and Portland. Thomas&#8217; sophomore album The Older I Get the Funnier I Was was released by Hardly Art Records in fall 2022.

Janay Boulos and Abd Alkader Habak are the directors and producers of the documentary<a href="https://birdsofwar.film/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Birds of War</a>, about how they fell in love as war reporters while navigating revolution and exile, which won the Special Jury Award for Journalistic Impact at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival. The film is now playing at IFC Center in New York City and opens in Los Angeles on November 19 at Laemmle Santa Monica and Glendale. Boulos is a highly experienced Lebanese journalist and documentary producer based between Lebanon and London who has produced several documentaries for international outlets, including Al Jazeera and The New York Times, as well as her second feature documentary, Until the Buzzing Stops. A Syrian cinematographer, activist and documentary filmmaker, Habak documented six years of the Syrian revolution. Now based between London and Syria, he blends journalism and human rights storytelling in his work, exploring identity, exile and return. Currently, he is working on two short documentaries and his second feature, Until the Buzzing Stops.
