WeTalkBefore You Know It: Producing Scripted Films

Ondi Timoner is joined by the creative forces behind Before You Know It to discuss the highs and lows of independent filmmaking.

Ondi Timoner is back at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival to lead an interesting discussion on the long, yet rewarding process of independent filmmaking.

In Episode 2 of WeTalk Sundance, our host and award-winning filmmaker Ondi Timoner is joined by the creative minds of the film Before You Know It, co-writer and lead actress Jen Tullock and producer Mallory Schwartz. These three creators lead us through the tiring and difficult process of transitioning an idea between friends into a full-length scripted independent film.

This discussion also gives us the inside scoop on the distinct steps of the creative process from our panel’s filmmaking experiences, including writing, rewriting, pitching, casting, constant difficult decision-making, and more.
