While out on tour supporting their debut album, The Other End of Passing Time, the husband and wife singer-songwriter duo Oh, Jeremiah created a special playlist tribute to their home state, Mississippi.
I lived in Mississippi for twenty-six years. That’s longer than I’ve ever done anything else. These songs make me feel closer to home. I went to college in a town called Hattiesburg and the urban legend is that the first rock & roll song ever recorded happened there. I grew up in a smaller town called Laurel where people spent most of their time telling stories and listening to the blues. Mississippi will always be the deepest part of me.
