Talkhouse Playlist: A Bass-tastic Playlist from Kite Base

Because right groovy basslines get you moving.

Kite Base is a duo consisting of bassists Ayse Hassan (Savages) and Kendra Frost. The two four-string experts made a playlist of songs that prominently feature the low end in all of its versatile glory. Make sure to catch them out on their European tour (dates here), and enjoy!
– Dave Lucas, Talkhouse Marketing Manager

Kendra Frost and I have selected a number of tracks for you that hold down the low end. We started off by trying to introduce bands/songs we thought people may not be that familiar with, but, in the end, we couldn’t deny some of the songs that get us moving due to down-right dirty bass lines or the utter grooviness of the track. It’s a varied playlist and we hope we introduce you to something new.
