Nobody’s Ever Asked Me That: Eleanor Wilson and Alex Huston Fischer

Cara Jade Myers is currently starring in the Native period drama How We Stand, which she also produced. She had her breakthrough role acting opposite Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone and Robert DeNiro in Martin Scorsese&#8217;s Oscar-nominated Killers of the Flower Moon in 2023. A member of the Wichita and Kiowa tribes, she also starred in the 2025 action thriller Ice Fall, opposite Joel Kinnaman. Myers is also a writer, documentarian, and passionate about showing the next generation of Native kids that they too can get a foot into film and television; she teaches workshops on reservations and also created CRASH Cares to create care packages for the unhoused. Garth Jennings is a film director, writer and artist whose latest film, <a href="https://mubi.com/en/us/films/pulp-what-do-you-do-for-an-encore" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pulp: What Do You Do for an Encore?</a>, is now streaming on MUBI. His work includes videos for Blur, Radiohead, Beck, R.E.M., Fatboy Slim and Vampire Weekend. He directed the feature film The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and wrote and directed the semi-autobiographical film Son of Rambow. Garth went on to write and direct the animated films Sing and Sing 2 with Illumination Entertainment, and is the author of four children’s books: The Wildest Cowboy, The Deadly Seven, The Good, the Bad, and the Deadly Seven, and The Curse of the Deadly Seven. Hiam Abbass can currently be seen in the new war drama <a href="https://kinolorber.com/film/atonement" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Atonement</a>, also starring Boyd Holbrook and Kenneth Branagh, which is now in theaters. She recently starred opposite Jeremy Irons in Palestine 36, and appeared as a series regular on HBO’s Succession and recurring on Hulu’s Ramy and The Old Man for FX. Her other television credits include The Promise, The State and The OA. Her extensive feature film credits include Munich (2005), The Lemon Tree (2008), The Visitor (2008), Amreeka (2009), Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) and Blade Runner 2049 (2017), amongst many others. She also worked as a creative consultant and acting coach on Alejandro G. Iñárritu Babel and Steven Spielberg’s Munich. She made her directorial feature film debut with The Inheritance in 2012, and has since written and directed an additional three short films: Le Pain, Le Danse Eternelle and Le Donne Della Vucciria.

Sophia Dunn-Walker is a French-American director and co-founder of Emmy-winning ENKIDU International Productions. Her feature documentary on the autism spectrum is currently in post-production, following a 2026 screening of its short version at the American Pavilion at Cannes. She has collaborated with Pussy Riot on several projects, and her visual approach is rooted in fine art and fashion photography, including early work assisting Annie Leibovitz and legally blind photographer Kurt Weston. Dunn-Walker has cone dystrophy, which affects color perception and visual acuity and has become an integral part of how she approaches image-making. Allegra Krieger was born a selkie in the Atlantic Ocean in 1845. Taking a more conventional corporeal form, she moved to New York City, where she maintains a residence on the sixth floor of a hotel in East Midtown. She writes songs, bad checks, love letters, and poorly formatted emails and trusts that terrible things can have extraordinary outcomes.
QVC has been playing on the small rectangular TV in her room at a low volume for 13 years straight. She drinks a lukewarm beer on blue cotton sheets and watches two women hawk a tropical blouson sleeve top for three easy payments of $15.99 on the distant screen before drifting into a fitful sleep. How remarkably human! 
Her new album, Art of the Unseen Infinity Machine, will be out on September 13 via Double Double Whammy.

Chris Merola is a writer and filmmaker from Long Island, New York. He holds an MFA in Film &amp; Television Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. His debut feature, <a href="https://www.antennareleasing.com/films/lemonadeblessing" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lemonade Blessing</a>, premiered in the U.S. Narrative Competition at the 2025 Tribeca Festival. The film went on to win the Audience Award for Best Comedy at the 2025 Newport Beach Film Festival, the Cineclubs Jury Prize at the 25th Tarragona International Film Festival, and was selected for Letterboxd Video Store&#8217;s second Unreleased Gems showcase.
