<div>The versatile Louisville, Kentucky-based artist Evan Patterson is primarily known for his creative work as a singer, songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist in the bands Young Widows and Jaye Jayle. In his late teens and early twenties, Patterson met many of his musical contemporaries (including Brian Cook) while playing in the revered hardcore bands, The National Acrobat and Breather Resist. Patterson – an accomplished visual artist and draftsman – recently released his first book of illustrations to launch his new publishing imprint and record label, Future Heart Works. From 2017 to 2019, he was a touring member and performer in Emma Ruth Rundle’s band. Earlier this year, under his Jaye Jayle moniker, he released a new album titled After Alter. Most recently, his most known and lauded endeavor, Young Widows, released their first album in eleven years, titled Power Sucker.</div>

With a career that encompasses five Grammys, numerous chart successes and personal and professional accolades, as well as collaborations with some of the world’s most prominent artists, Michael McDonald remains an enduring force in popular music. Hailing from St. Louis, McDonald arrived in Los Angeles in the early 1970s, honing his talents as a studio musician before becoming an integral part of Steely Dan. In the mid-’70s McDonald was invited to join the Doobie Brothers as the band redefined their sound with McDonald serving as singer, keyboardist and songwriter on such Top 40 singles as “Takin’ It To The Streets,” “It Keeps You Runnin’,” “Minute By Minute” and “What A Fool Believes.”
Throughout the ’80s and ’90s McDonald’s solo career took off with a string of hits including “I Keep Forgettin’ (Every Time You’re Near),” “Sweet Freedom,” “On My Own” (with Patti LaBelle) and the Grammy-winning James Ingram duet “Yah Mo B There,” plus he co-wrote the Van Halen hit “I’ll Wait.” McDonald has performed with a who’s-who of critically acclaimed artists across a number of genres, including Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Joni Mitchell, Vince Gill, and Grizzly Bear.

Dominic Angelella and Eric Slick have been friends for ten years, and in 2005 they formed Lithuania in a rehearsal room. Lithuania has played a handful of shows, toured twice and quietly released a five-song EP titled Heavy Hands. All of these activities were broken up by long periods of silence in which Eric and Dominic worked on other projects (Dr. Dog and DRGN King) and went to see movies and concerts together when they found each other in the same city.

Blissfulness is at the core of Wiseacre, the strikingly purifying sophomore record from Eric Slick. Wiseacre is a location, literally. It’s the place he married the light in his life, Natalie Prass, and titling the record after it is an attempt at bottling the euphoria of his wedding day. The record isn’t just about the joy that comes from a loving existence blossoming out of a new relationship, it’s also about the hard work that it takes to get to that place. The majority of his time has been behind a drum set, spending the last decade rounding out the industrious outfit Dr. Dog, and as of late, touring as a newlywed alongside his wife.

Haley Fohr’s music strikes a unique balance between the personal and universal. As Circuit des Yeux, she creates music that embodies the complexity of human emotions. Fohr’s new project, Jackie Lynn, finds her creating an entirely new persona for herself, the mysterious &#8220;Jackie Lynn.&#8221; The album tells the story of this intriguing character, drawing on the real-life experience of Fohr as a rising singer, songwriter, and performer. Jackie Lynn is out June 10, 2016.
