Wyatt Rockefeller is the writer-director of <a href="https://www.ifcfilms.com/films/settlers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Settlers</a>, his debut feature, which will be released by IFC Midnight in theaters and VOD on July 23. The film, which explores the lives of people struggling to survive in the lawless edges of a foreign place, stars Brooklynn Prince, Sofia Boutella and Jonny Lee Miller. After graduating from Princeton with a degree in history, Rockefeller worked for President Obama on his first presidential campaign and in his administration in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. He went on to receive a dual MBA-MFA in film at NYU’s Stern School of Business and Tisch School of the Arts, and was a grant recipient of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Rockefeller has written, directed and produced numerous documentaries, commercials and short films, including Groomed and Entropy. Currently, he is developing a project about Prince Felix Yusupov, the man who killed Rasputin. The New York Times called Jennifer Prediger a &#8220;busy indie actress&#8221;. She is also a busy writer, director and producer living in Los Angeles. She made her directorial debut in 2014 with collaborator Jess Weixler with their movie Apartment Troubles, starring Weixler, Prediger, Megan Mullally, Will Forte and Jeffrey Tambor. Sadie Dupuis is the guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter of rock band Speedy Ortiz. She&#8217;s also the producer &amp; multi-instrumentalist behind pop project Sad13. Sadie heads the record label Wax Nine, has written for outlets including Spin, Nylon, and Playboy, and holds an MFA in poetry from UMass Amherst. Mouthguard, her first book, was published in 2018.
