Elaine McMillion Sheldon is a Peabody award-winning documentary filmmaker, visual journalist and media artist who brings classic expertise to intimate and character-driven storytelling experiences. In 2013, she released Hollow, an interactive documentary that examines the future of rural America through the eyes and voices of Appalachians, which received a 2013 Peabody, 2014 Emmy nomination and 3rd Prize in the World Press Photo Multimedia Awards. She is also the co-creator of She Does, a bi-weekly audio documentary series that documents creative women’s journeys. Her directorial debut, the feature documentary After Tiller, premiered at Sundance 2013, was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Documentary, and will broadcast on PBS&#8217;s POV series on September 1. Adam Egypt Mortimer is a filmmaker and writer living in Los Angeles. His debut feature, the indie horror film Some Kind of Hate, was released theatrically in 2015 by Image Entertainment. He directed the &#8220;New Year&#8217;s Eve&#8221; segment of the anthology horror film Holidays, which also features segments by Kevin Smith, Nicholas McCarthy and Gary Shore. He also wrote the acclaimed comic book series Ballistic, published by Black Mask Studios; the collected trade paperback for the series was published in 2015.

He fronted Epic/Sony alt-rockers Verbow during the ‘90s alt-rock bubble, then spent nearly a decade as the bassist and backup vocalist for folks like Bob Mould, Robert Pollard, Telekinesis and Superchunk. Split Single’s <a href="http://www.shopbenchmark.com/splitsingle/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Metal Frames</a> was released in 2016.

Jeff Zentner’s debut novel, The Serpent King (Crown/Random House), releases in March 2016. Prior to becoming an author, he was a singer-songwriter and guitarist who recorded with Iggy Pop, Nick Cave, Thurston Moore, Mark Lanegan, Lydia Lunch and Debbie Harry, among others. In addition to writing and recording, Zentner works with young musicians at Tennessee Teen Rock Camp. He lives in Nashville. He has contributed written works of political and cultural commentary to various publications including Flavorwire and Slutist.
