Shannon Plumb has shot over 200 short films, which have been exhibited in museums, galleries, and on international screens. She started by shooting herself as various characters, acting out three-minute situations using humor and silence as her vehicles for storytelling. In 2013, her first feature film, Towheads, premiered at MoMA as part of New Directors / New Films; it is now streaming on the <a href="https://www.criterionchannel.com/towheads" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Criterion Channel</a>. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, director Derek Cianfrance, and their two sons.

I’ve Been a Clown and I’m Terrified of Scary Movies, So Of Course I Saw It

Four-time Emmy award-winning actor, producer and comedian Rob Corddry is currently co-starring opposite Malin Åkerman, Erinn Hayes, Bria Samoné Henderson, Ryan Hansen and Jerry O’Connell in the comedy <a href="https://www.vert-ent.com/films-3/the-donor-party-" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Donor Party</a>. He is best known for his work on Adult Swim’s satirical comedy series Childrens Hospital, which he created, executive produced, and starred in. In 2016, Corddry won his first-ever acting Emmy award for his role as the misfit-clown Dr. Blake Downs in the series. Between 2015 and 2019, Corddry starred as Joe Krutel in the hit HBO series Ballers, opposite Dwayne Johnson, and in 2019 he played Forrest on the CBS sitcom The Unicorn. From 2002 to 2006, Corddry was a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Corddry&#8217;s numerous film credits including Hot Tub Time Machine and Hot Tub Time Machine 2, Office Christmas Party, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, Sex Tape, Warm Bodies and The Heartbreak Kid. Originally from Weymouth, Massachusetts, Corddry studied and taught improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York City. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters. Lake Bell serves as co-creator, co-writer, executive producer, and star opposite Dax Shepard in ABC’s Bless This Mess, a new single-camera comedy that centers on a newlywed couple that gives up their drab and unfulfilling lives in New York and moves to Nebraska for a simpler life. Bell also directed the pilot, and the series will return for its second season this upcoming Fall. Bell can currently be seen reprising her role as the lackadaisical cat Chloe in the second installment of Universal’s The Secret Life of Pets 2 opposite Patton Oswalt, Bobby Moynihan, Jenny Slate, Dana Carvey, Tiffany Haddish and Kevin Hart. This fall, Bell will be voicing Poison Ivy in the upcoming DC Universe animated series Harley Quinn. Bell made her debut as writer-director-star with the acclaimed 2013 comedy In a World, and in 2016 followed it up with I Do … Until I Don’t, a romantic comedy about marriage in which she co-starred with Ed Helms, Mary Steenburgen, Paul Reiser, Amber Heard, Wyatt Cenac and Dolly Wells.

As a film journalist and critic, he has written for SOMA Magazine, AOL Moviefone, Slant and Little Joe. Adam&#8217;s short film Long Days was a Vimeo Staff Pick and won the HammerToNail Short Film Contest. He was also awarded a Jerome Foundation production grant and Film Independent AbelCine grant for his debut feature film Easy Living, which premiered at the 2017 SXSW Film Festival and will be distributed by Gravitas Ventures in September. Nicole Holofcener is a writer-director who lives in Los Angeles. A graduate of Columbia, where she was taught by Martin Scorsese, she made her feature debut in 1996 with the acclaimed indie comedy Walking and Talking, starring Catherine Keener and Anne Heche. She subsequently reteamed with Keener on her many of subsequent features, including Lovely and Amazing (also featuring Brenda Blethyn and Emily Mortimer), Friends with Money (starring Jennifer Aniston Joan Cusack and Frances McDormand), Please Give (with Amanda Peet, Oliver Platt and Rebecca Hall), and Enough Said (starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, James Gandolfini and Toni Collette). On TV, she has directed episodes such shows as Sex and the City, Gilmore Girls, Six Feet Under, Parks and Recreation, Bored to Death, Enlightened Orange is the New Black, Inside Amy Schumer and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. She is currently completing her new film for Netflix, The Land of Steady Habits, starring Ben Mendelsohn, Edie Falco, Connie Britton and Thomas Mann.

Jenny Slate had her breakthrough role in writer-director Gillian Robespierre&#8217;s 2014 comedy Obvious Child as Donna, a twenty-something comedienne whose unplanned pregnancy forces her to confront the realities of independent womanhood for the first time. She is now starring in Landline, her second feature in collaboration with Robespierre. Her other film credits include Joshy, My Blind Brother and the forthcoming Aardvark and The Polka King, while she also voiced the characters of Bellwether in Disney&#8217;s Zootopia and Gidget in The Secret Life of Pets. Slate&#8217;s TV credits include Kroll Show, Bob&#8217;s Burgers, Parks and Recreation, Girls, Saturday Night Live, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Bored to Death. She is also the co-creator with Dean Fleischer-Camp of Marcel the Shell, the beloved character from the Marcel The Shell short films which became viral sensations, and the best-selling children&#8217;s books which those shorts spawned.

Writer-director Gillian Robespierre is a filmmaker born and raised in New York City. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts, Film &amp; Video Program. Her first feature, Obvious Child, starring Jenny Slate, premiered at Sundance in 2014 and was released to excellent reviews. Her second feature, Landline, also starring Slate as well as Edie Falco, John Turturro and Jay Duplass, is currently in theaters through Magnolia Pictures. Robespierre has also directed episodes of Casual, a Hulu original television show, and HBO’s Crashing. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter.

Kyle Mooney is the co-writer and star of Brigsby Bear, in theaters from July 28, and has been a cast member on Saturday Night Live since 2013. In his debut year on SNL, he quickly gained recognition via the digital shorts Miley Sex Tape with Miley Cyrus and 420 with Seth Rogen, and has also stood out with his signature man-on-the-street interviews. In addition to co-founding the Good Neighbor sketch comedy group, Mooney has been a regular writer and performer at Upright Citizens Brigade since 2007. He starred in the HBO series Hello Ladies and the movie adaptation Hello Ladies: The Movie opposite Stephen Merchant. He has also appeared on NBC&#8217;s Parks and Recreation and in the feature films Zoolander 2, directed by Ben Stiller, and Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising. Originally from San Diego, Mooney studied film at the University of Southern California and currently lives in New York City.

Over the course of his career, Taran Killam has established himself as one of the most versatile actors in Hollywood. Perhaps best-known for his scene-stealing work on Saturday Night Live for six seasons, Killam has in 2017 further shown the extent of his talents, making his Broadway debut as King George III in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s award-winning Broadway smash Hamilton, and writing, directing and starring in the action-comedy Killing Gunther opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger, Cobie Smulders and Bobby Moynihan, to be released on October 20. Killam’s previous feature film credits include 12 Years A Slave, The Heat, and Brother Nature, which he co-wrote with Mikey Day. On TV, Killam has also appeared on How I Met Your Mother, Community, Scrubs, New Girl, Drunk History, MADtv and the Disney Channel Original Movie Stuck in the Suburbs.
