Ganser combines post-punk workmanship with aesthetic noise rock tendencies, inspired by cinematic visuals and imagist language. Composed of keyboardist/vocalist Nadia Garofalo, bassist/vocalist Alicia Gaines, drummer Brian Cundiff, and guitarist Charlie Landsman, equal parts Space Odyssey and Ghost World, this Chicago-based band channels anxiety’s heightened state to absurd ends.
Their debut, Odd Talk, was released in 2018 on No Trend Records to favorable coverage from The New York Times, Billboard, Stereogum, and other publications. Building on their dissociative disorder namesake, their music is sometimes frenzied (&#8220;PSY OPS&#8221;), but sometimes contemplative (&#8220;Revel&#8221;), probing on questions of anxiety, intimacy, and avoidance.

Alicia Gaines is a songwriter, multiinstrumentalist, singer, and Graphis-awarded art director from Washington State. As part of Ganser, she has released two albums and multiple EPs serving as co-songwriter, co-producer, video co-director, and editor. After their critically acclaimed debut album, Odd Talk, Ganser&#8217;s Just Look at That Sky met 2020 with year end nods from The Quietus, Rolling Stone, Vice, Paste, Uproxx, Bandcamp, and more. “Favorite albums of 2020. Bob Mould is an American singer-songwriter, DJ, producer, and the author of an autobigraphy, <a href="http://http//www.amazon.com/See-Little-Light-Trail-Melody/dp/B009WHP5PW/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1366903168&amp;sr=1-1">See a Little Light: The Trail of Rage and Melody</a> (Little, Brown, 2011). He has slept on more floors than he can remember. He has flown in Lear jets producing live TV pro wrestling. He has performed in halls across the world: Carnegie, Royal Albert, Disney, and dozens of VFW. Mould is currently living vehicle-free in San Francisco.
