Alex Horne is an award-winning comedian, author and podcaster, and the creator and host of the award-winning comedy game show Taskmaster, whose tenth season is now streaming on <a href="https://taskmastersupermaxplus.vhx.tv/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Taskmaster Supermax+</a> and <a href="https://www.youtube.com/c/Taskmaster/playlists" target="_blank" rel="noopener">YouTube</a>. Alex is also the creator and frontman of The Horne Section, a six-piece band of multitalented musicians, which will have its own sitcom later in 2022. This follows the band’s establishment as a staple at the Edinburgh Fringe, appearances on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and the release of the iTunes chart-topping The Horne Section Podcast.

Three Great Things: Alex Horne

Jon Daly is an actor, comedian, and musician you may recognize from Kroll Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Parks and Rec, Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Bob’s Burger’s or Comedy Bang Bang. His debut album, Ding Dong Delicious (Northern Spy Records), now available for download and on baby blue vinyl, features an incredible lineup of players and picks up where his Lil Xan diss track “I’m Your Dad” and his internet breaking Red Hot Chili Peppers spoof “Abracadabralifornia” left off, landing somewhere between pure silliness and pop sublimity. On the album, Daly provides vocals and saxophone and is joined by multi-instrumentalist Cyrus Gharemani (Man Man) and a cast of musicians including Mary Timony (Helium, Ex Hex), Nick Thornburn (Islands), Colleen Green, Devendra Banhart, Joe Wong (The Midnight Gospel).

Zawe Ashton is a British actress, playwright, author and director who is currently starring in the period romantic dramedy <a href="https://bleeckerstreetmedia.com/mr-malcolms-list/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mr. Malcolm’s List</a>, opposite Freida Pinto and Ṣọpẹ Dìrísù. Ashton’s portrayal of Vod in Channel 4’s Fresh Meat won her a cult following, and her other credits include the BBC/Netflix series Wanderlust and the feature Velvet Buzzsaw, opposite Jake Gyllenhaal, Toni Collette and Rene Russo. She recently wrapped production on Nia DaCosta’s The Marvels, opposite Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris. Ashton recently starred in both the West End and on Broadway in the critically acclaimed revival of Betrayal, with Tom Hiddleston and Charlie Cox. In addition to being an accomplished actress, Ashton has also established herself as an award-winning writer, producer and director. She was the youngest winner of the London Poetry Slam Championship in 2000. Her debut play, Harm’s Way, was nominated for a Verity Bargate Award in 2007 and her directorial debut, Happy Toys, was nominated for Best British Short at the Raindance Film Festival in 2014. Ashton’s play For All the Women Who Thought They Were Mad was produced in London at the Hackney Showroom and at Soho Rep in New York. Her novel Character Breakdown was published by Penguin Books in 2019.

Cecilia Suárez can currently be seen in the indie horror-thriller <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldSbEpwQIdE" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Passenger</a>, directed by Raúl Cerezo and Fernando González Gómez which is out now through Dark Star Pictures, and the ABC drama Promised Land, opposite John Ortiz. For three seasons, she starred in the hit Netflix series set in Mexico, La Casa de las Flores, and became the first Mexican actress to be nominated for an international Emmy® Award for her role in the HBO series Capadocia. Her other recent TV credits include Amazon Prime&#8217;s 3 Caminos and Lifetime&#8217;s For the People and her past film work includes Overboard, James L. Brooks Spanglish, and Tommy Lee Jones’ Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada. Based on her long track record of public advocacy for gender equality in her home country of Mexico, Suárez was appointed by United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres to be a U.N. Global Advocate for the Spotlight Initiative, the world&#8217;s largest targeted effort to end all forms of violence against women and girls.

Jim Broadbent is an Academy Award®, BAFTA, Emmy and Golden Globe-winning theatre, film and television actor who is currently starring with Helen Mirren in <a href="https://www.sonyclassics.com/film/theduke/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Duke</a>, which is in theaters from April 22 through Sony Pictures Classics. He is best known for roles in Iris (for which he won Best Supporting Actor at the Academy Awards and the Golden Globes), Moulin Rouge (for which he was awarded the BAFTA for performance in a Supporting Role) and the Harry Potter franchise. He was BAFTA nominated most recently for his role alongside Meryl Streep in The Iron Lady. He has appeared in the romantic comedy drama Le Week-End (for which he was nominated for a British Independent Film Award as Best Actor), Paul King’s critically acclaimed Paddington films, Nicholas Hytner’s Lady in the Van, Sharon Maguire’s Bridget Jones’s Baby and Ritesh Batra’s A Sense of an Ending. Since his film debut in 1978, Broadbent has appeared in countless successful and acclaimed films, establishing a long-running collaboration with Mike Leigh (Life is Sweet, Topsy-Turvy, Vera Drake and Another Year) and demonstrating his talents as a character actor in films as diverse as The Crying Game, Bullets Over Broadway, Little Voice, Bridget Jones’ Diary, Hot Fuzz, The Damned United and Cloud Atlas. Also honored for his extensive work on television, Broadbent won a BAFTA and a Golden Globe for his performance in Tom Hooper’s Lomgford and an Emmy for his performance in The Street for which he won an Emmy, while his earlier role in The Gathering Storm earned him Golden Globe and Emmy nominations.

Named one of “Ten Actors to Watch” by both Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, Caleb Landry Jones just received the Best Actor Award at Cannes 2021 for his performance in <a href="https://www.ifcfilms.com/films/nitram" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nitram</a>, which is out now in theaters, on digital and on AMC+ through IFC Films. In 2019, Landry Jones was a recipient of both the SAG award and Critics Choice Award for Best Ensemble for his work in Martin McDonagh’s Oscar-winning Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, opposite Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell. He also co-starred in Jordan Peele’s Oscar-winning Get Out and Sean Baker’s Oscar-nominated The Florida Project. Dana Gould has six solo stand-up comedy specials to his credit, has appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Conan and Maron, and as an actor has had memorable turns on Seinfeld and Parks and Recreation and is one of the few actors to play his live-action self on Family Guy and The Simpsons. Dana was a writer/performer on the original Ben Stiller Show, co-created MTV&#8217;s late, lamented Super Adventure Team with Rob Cohen, and is the creator and executive producer of the IFC horror-comedy Stan Against Evil, starring John C. McGinley. He was also a co-executive producer at The Simpsons and a producer on Parks and Rec. Dana adapted Rod Serling’s original draft of the screenplay for Planet of the Apes as a graphic novel for Boom! Comics, and is currently portraying Doctor Z in his original comedy talk-show series <a href="https://www.youtube.com/c/hangingwithdoctorz" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hanging with Doctor Z</a>, in which his 1970s-era movie star simian interviews current celebrities. Emmanuelle is a Canadian actress best known for her role Sloan McQuewick in HBO’s Entourage. Her career has spanned a number of film and television products, such as horror flick Wrong Turn, family comedy The Steps and crime show The Mentalist.

Barbara Crampton&#8216;s career as an iconic figure in the horror/thriller genres has spanned five decades and continues to gain momentum. Currently, she is starring in the horror films Alone with You and King Knight, and she recently starred in and produced the genre thriller Jakob&#8217;s Wife and produced a remake of the Stuart Gordon classic Castle Freak, based on the H.P. Lovecraft story. Other recent titles as an actress include We Are Still Here, Little Sister, Sun Choke and Adam Wingard’s You’re Next. Barbara guest-starred on the last season of Channel Zero: The Dream Door and starred in the Culture Shock episode of the highly acclaimed film series Into the Dark. Barbara can also be seen in the latest season of Creepshow from award-winning producer and SFX wiz Greg Nicotero. She made her screen debut in 1984’s Body Double, and Stuart Gordon’s 1985 cult classic Re-Animator, in which Barbara portrayed the leading role of Megan Halsey, continues to be a huge fan favorite. Other films Crampton starred in during her early career include From Beyond, and the original versions of Puppet Master and Castle Freak. Barbara lives in California with her husband, Robert.

Award-winning actor Patrick Wilson, who has tackled lead roles in major Broadway musicals, as well as starring in big-budget blockbusters, currently stars in the new movie <a href="https://moonfall.movie/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Moonfall</a>, also starring Halle Berry and John Bradley, out February 4 through Lionsgate. He recently wrapped Aquaman 2, opposite Jason Momoa, and will star and make his directorial debut in the fifth film in the Insidious horror franchise. He previously starred in The Conjuring franchise and his other film credits include Aquaman, The Founder, Prometheus, Young Adult, Watchmen, Little Children. Hard Candy and The Phantom of the Opera. He starred in the TV series Fargo, opposite Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons and Ted Danson, and received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for his performance in the HBO miniseries Angels in America, based on Tony Kushner’s play. Wilson earned two consecutive Tony Award nominations for Best Actor in a Musical, the most recent coming for his performance as Curly in the 2002 Broadway revival of Oklahoma!, starred in the revival of the Neil Simon comedy Barefoot in the Park, opposite Amanda Peet, and acted in the 2008/2009 revival of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons, with John Lithgow, Dianne West and Katie Holmes.

Vincent D’Onofrio is currently appearing as Jelly Fallwell in the biopic <a href="https://www.searchlightpictures.com/films/theeyesoftammyfaye/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Eyes of Tammy Faye</a>, out now through Searchlight Pictures. He can currently be seen in EPIX’s new drama series The Godfather of Harlem starring opposite Forest Whitaker, and recently made his directorial debut with The Kid, starring Ethan Hawke, Dane DeHaan and Chris Pratt. D’Onofrio first gained attention for his haunting portrayal of an unstable Vietnam War recruit in Stanley Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket; his other early film appearances include Mystic Pizza, JFK Oliver Stone’s and Robert Altman’s The Player. His recent major films include The Magnificent Seven and Jurassic World, and he played Kingpin in Netflix’s popular Marvel series Daredevil. D’Onofrio starred as Detective Robert Goren in over 100 episodes of the series Law &amp; Order: Criminal Intent and received an Emmy nomination in 1998 for his guest appearance in the Homicide: Life on the Street episode “The Subway.” D’Onofrio directed, produced and starred in the short film Five Minutes, Mr. Welles and recently appeared in the Academy Award-winning short The New Tenants.
