Actor and musician Creed Bratton is best known for starring as a fictional version of himself on nine seasons of the award-winning, critically acclaimed NBC series The Office. For nearly eight years, fans worldwide grew to love him as Dunder Mifflin’s quality assurance director who unapologetically forgets the names of his own co-workers, and says bizarre confusing statements on a regular basis. Bratton is also an established musician with a career in music that spans nearly five decades, and just release his ninth full-length album, Slightly Altered, featuring 10 brand new tracks. He was previously a member of the American rock group The Grass Roots, playing lead guitar with the group on their first four albums – three of which charted and sold millions of records across the globe. Creed parted ways with the band in 1970, but has released a handful of solo albums over the years. His additional television credits for Creed include Hulu’s Into the Dark, Netflix’s Grace and Frankie and Amazon’s Upload, while he has acted in films such as Mask, The Sister Brothers and Terri. The Way Forward: Creed Bratton is Putting Out Albums and Staying Positive and in Peak Condition

James D’Arcy is an actor, writer, and director; <a href="https://www.madeinitaly.movie/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Made in Italy</a>, his feature directorial debut starring Micheál Richardson, Liam Neeson and Lindsay Duncan, is out now through IFC Films. D’Arcy is perhaps best known for playing Edwin Jarvis in the Marvel TV series Agent Carter and the 2019 film Avengers: Endgame. Other television credits include Those Who Kill, alongside Chloë Sevigny, Broadchurch opposite Olivia Colman, and Homeland with Claire Danes. On the big screen, James was in Christopher Nolan&#8217;s Dunkirk, Tomas Alfredson’s The Snowman with Michael Fassbender and J.K. Simmons, and Jupiter Ascending and Cloud Atlas, both for the Wachowskis. He can also be seen in Madonna&#8217;s W.E. and Peter Weir’s Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. In 2016, he wrote, directed and produced the short film Chicken / Egg, starring Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Hayley Atwell.

A lot has changed since Jess Cornelius began writing the songs that would comprise Distance.
For starters, she moved halfway around the world from Melbourne, Australia to Los Angeles. At the time, Cornelius — who was born and raised in New Zealand — had a few new songs and the idea of finally making a record of her own, excited to start fresh after several years as the primary songwriter in the Melbourne-based outfit Teeth and Tongue.
But the distance that Cornelius addresses over the course of these ten songs is hardly a geographical one. Instead, the album — her solo debut on Loantaka Records — finds a deft songwriter analyzing the space between society’s expectations for her and her own dreams; between the illusion of love and the reality of disappointment; between a past she is ready to let go of and a future she could have hardly imagined.
The album features contributions by Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint), harpist Mary Lattimore, Emily Elhaj (Angel Olsen), Stephanie Drootin (Bright Eyes), Jesse Quebbeman-Turley (Hand Habits), whistler Molly Lewis and special appearances by Justin Sullivan (Night Shop, Kevin Morby) and Laura Jean Anderson.

Iranian-born artist and filmmaker Marjane Satrapi&rsquo;s latest film, Radioactive, a biopic of Marie Curie starring Rosamund Pike and Sam Riley based on Lauren Redniss&rsquo; graphic novel Radioactive: Marie &amp; Pierre Curie: A Tale Of Love And Fallout, is out now on Amazon Prime. Satrapi, who lives in Paris, is the author of the hugely acclaimed, award-winning series of Persepolis graphic novels, which tell the story of Satrapi&rsquo;s youth in Iran in the 1970s and 80s, living through the Islamic Revolution and the war with Iraq. (Satrapi&rsquo;s other books include Embroideries and Chicken with Plums, and she is also the author of several children&rsquo;s books, including Monsters are Afraid of the Moon.) The 2007 animated film adaptation of Persepolis, which Satrapi wrote and directed with Vincent Paronnaud, garnered huge international acclaim, won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film and won two Cesar Awards for Best First Film and Best Adaptation. Her other films include Chicken with Plums (2011), based on her book by the same name, the crime comedy Gang of the Jotas (2013), and 2014 black comedy The Voices starring Ryan Reynolds, Gemma Arterton and Anna Kendrick. Satrapi lives in Paris, where her illustrations appear regularly in newspapers and magazines all around the world.
