Holiday Mountain is an electronic music duo founded by Mexican-American songwriter/keyboardist Laura Patiño and drummer/producer Zander Kagle. The two met in Boston while attending Berklee College of Music and together found a genre-expanding sound, fusing together their affinity for pop, hip-hop, and electronic music. The result is a force so strong that when describing their sound, NPR exclaimed, &#8220;resistance is futile.&#8221;

Emily Nokes is a musician, writer, graphic designer, illustrator, Libra, candy enthusiast and the singer/tambourinist in glittery feminist punk-pop band Tacocat. Her hobbies include giving pretty good home bang trims, puffy painting, stoned shopping and taking photos of her luxuriously large grey cat, Doctor O. As a writer and illustrator, her work has appeared in Seattle alternative weekly The Stranger, where she previously worked as music editor before deciding to tour basically all the time.

Reading Music: The Exquisite Drama That Is Fleetwood Mac on Fleetwood Mac: Interviews and Encounters

Devo founder, Gerald V. Casale, was the band’s co-principle songwriter on radio hits like “Whip It,&#8221; “Beautiful World,&#8221; “Freedom of Choice” and “Gates of Steel.&#8221; He was also largely responsible for designing Devo’s acclaimed stage shows and Dadaist costumes, including the infamous red “Energy Dome.&#8221;  A pioneering, award-winning music video and commercial director, Gerald began by directing the band’s groundbreaking videos in the &#8217;70s and &#8217;80s. Afterwards, he directed nearly one hundred music videos over the next decade for groups as varied as The Foo Fighters, Silverchair, Soundgarden and Mint Condition before moving on to TV spot directing on the cusp of the new millenium. Currently, Casale remains active in both music and videos, collaborating with Italy’s Phunk Investigation on a vinyl EP to be released Record Store Day 2016 and developing a Devo musical, The Beginning Was the End, a satirical, futuristic narrative set in Devo’s alternate world, Spudland and propelled by Devo’s well-known song catalog.

The Zombies are an English rock band. Formed in 1961 in St Albans and led by Rod Argent on piano and Colin Blunstone on vocals, the band scored US hits in the mid- and late-1960s with “She’s Not There,&#8221; “Tell Her No&#8221; and “Time of the Season.&#8221; Their 1968 album Odessey and Oracle, is ranked 80 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
The scrappy New York outfit known as Hollis Brown was formed in 2009. Drawing from a bottomless well of classic influences yet firmly rooted in the present, the band’s output has steadily evolved from the raw immediacy of its early releases to the more expansive, adventurous approach that fuels its bracing new album, 3 Shots.
