Aharon Keshales&#8216; new film, the action drama South of Heaven, starring Jason Sudeikis and Evangeline Lilly, is out now in theaters, on VOD and on digital through RLJE Films. Keshales was a film critic and a lecturer at the Tel Aviv University before he co-wrote and co-directed his 
first feature, Rabies, in 2010. Rabies (aka Kalevet) was Israel&#8217;s first horror film and it premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. In 2013, Keshales co-wrote and co-directed Big Bad Wolves. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and won the Saturn Award for Best International Film. The film was also named &#8220;The best film of 2013&#8221; by Quentin Tarantino.

Intimate Spaces, Brutal Landscapes

Pollyanna McIntosh is an actor, writer and director who currently plays Jadis on The Walking Dead. Her feature debut as writer-director, Darlin&#8216;, had its world premiere at SXSW 2019, has subsequently played at festivals such as What the Fest!?, and is forthcoming in theaters later this summer. Her recent work in film has included The Woman, Filth, Let Us Prey, Burke and Hare and Tales of Halloween, while on TV she appeared in Sundance Channel&#8217;s Hap and Leonard and was the female lead in the BBC political comedy, Bob Servant Independent, starring alongside Brian Cox. Nacho Vigalondo is a Spanish writer-director and producer whose latest film, Colossal, starring Anne Hathaway and Jason Sudeikis, was released theatrically by Neon in 2017. Vigalondo burst onto the American film scene with his riveting directorial debut Timecrimes, which premiered at Austin&#8217;s Fantastic Fest in 2008. Vigalondo went on to write, direct and produce Extraterrestrial, which was released in U.S. theaters by Focus Features. In 2014, he premiered Open Windows, starring Elijah Wood and Sasha Grey. Vigalondo has won more than 80 awards in national and international film festivals. In 2005, his short 7:35 in the Morning was nominated for an Oscar for Best Short Film in addition to a European Film Award. Negin Farsad is a writer, filmmaker and comedian. She directed the documentaries The Muslims are Coming, about Muslim-American standup comedy, and Nerdcore Rising, on geeky hip-hop. On the small screen, she co-wrote and developed the MTV series Detox, wrote for the animated shows 1001 Nights and Class Parents, and produced, directed, wrote and performed in Comedy Central&#8217;s The Watch List. A 2013 TED Fellow and the inaugural YouTube Visionary Award winner, she was named one of the 50 Funniest Women by the <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/03/09/52-female-comedians_n_833214.html#s250822&amp;title=Negin_Farsad">Huffington Post</a>.
