Stephen Moyer&#8216;s new film as a director, A Bit of Light, starring Anna Paquin and Ray Winstone, is now in theaters, on demand and on digital. His passion for acting began in local theatre in Brentwood and Chelmsford, Essex where he also made a name for himself with his own theatre company, The Reject Society. He then trained at LAMDA and began his professional acting career on stage, including two years with the Royal Shakespeare Company and in the world premiere of Pete Townshend&#8217;s rock opera The Iron Man at the Young Vic. He is best known for co-starring with Anna Paquin in Alan Ball&#8217;s Golden Globe-nominated show for HBO, True Blood (2008) as the 173-year-old vampire Bill Compton. Moyer, who can currently be seen in Paramount +’s Sexy Beast, the final two episodes of which he directed, also helmed several episodes of True Blood as well as Amazon Prime Video’s Flack, starring Paquin and executive produced by the pair. He made his feature directing debut with The Parting Glass, also produced by Moyer and Paquin.

Tehran-born, Australia-raised filmmaker Noora Niasari’s debut feature film, <a href="https://www.sonyclassics.com/film/shayda/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Shayda</a>, premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award, and is in theaters from March 1 through Sony Pictures Classics. The film, which stars Zar Amir Ebrahimi (Cannes Best Actress Winner for Holy Spider) and was executive produced by Cate Blanchett, is a drama about an Iranian mother living with her six-year-old daughter in an Australian women’s shelter, trying to start a new life away from her estranged husband. Susan Seidelman, a graduate of NYU Grad Film School, began her career in the 1980s when Smithereens became the first American independent film to be accepted into the Cannes Film Festival. Her next movie, Desperately Seeking Susan, starring Madonna and Rosanna Arquette, was a critical and commercial success. She has directed dozens of other films starring actors such as Meryl Streep, Brooke Shields, and Sally Field, as well as the first four episodes of Sex and the City. She lives in New Jersey.

He made his mark as a director in the 1990s with the action blockbuster hits Die Hard 2, Cliffhanger, The Long Kiss Goodnight and Deep Blue Sea. Previously, he appeared Darren Aronofsky’s The Fountain, Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street, Tony Kaye’s American History X, Ted Demme’s Blow, and Anthony Minghella’s Cold Mountain and Kevin Smith’s Mallrats, Chasing Amy and Dogma. He had his breakout role in Remember The Titans opposite Denzel Washington. Ethan landed his first TV role at the age of 16 on the hit series Boy Meets World, went on to star opposite Jason Lee in the hit comedy My Name is Earl and recently appeared on Good Girls opposite Christina Hendricks, in a major arc on the final season of Santa Clarita Diet, and memorably co-starred on David Lynch’s Twin Peaks: The Return. He also continues to host his popular American Glutton podcast.

Anton Corbijn is a Dutch photographer, music video director, and film director. His latest film, the documentary Squaring the Circle (The Story of Hipgnosis) is out now in select theaters through Utopia. He is the creative director behind the visual output of Depeche Mode and U2, having handled the principal promotion and sleeve photography for both bands over three decades. Some of his works include music videos for Depeche Mode&#8217;s &#8220;Enjoy the Silence&#8221; (1990), U2&#8217;s &#8220;One&#8221; (version 1) (1991), Bryan Adams&#8217; &#8220;Do I Have to Say the Words?&#8221;, Nirvana&#8217;s &#8220;Heart-Shaped Box&#8221; (1993) and Coldplay&#8217;s &#8220;Talk&#8221; (2005) and &#8220;Viva la Vida&#8221; (2008), as well as the Ian Curtis biographical film Control (2007), The American (2010), and A Most Wanted Man (2014), based on John le Carré&#8217;s 2008 novel of the same name.
