Bill Plympton

Bill Plympton is considered the King of Indie Animation and is the first person to hand draw an entire animated feature film. He was Oscar nominated for his animated shorts Your Face (1987) and Guard Dog (2005); another short film, Push Comes to Shove (1991), won the prestigious Palme d’Or at Cannes. Since 1991 he’s made 10 feature films, seven of them – The Tune, Mondo Plympton, I Married A Strange Person, Mutant Aliens, Hair High, Idiots and Angels and Cheatin’ – animated features.
