Julia Marchese is a filmmaker, actor, podcaster, cinephile and film programmer living in Hollywood, California. Her first film was the award-winning documentary Out of Print, about the importance of revival cinema and 35 mm exhibition to culture, and she is currently the co-host of the popular horror podcast Horror Movie Survival Guide. She recently crowdfunded on <a href="https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/i-know-what-you-need-a-stephen-king-adaptation" target="_blank" rel="noopener">IndieGoGo</a> for her forthcoming Dollar Baby short film I Know What You Need, based on Stephen King&#8217;s story of the same name from Night Shift. 1985 Was a Rad Year for Cinema

A fixture in New York’s experimental and indie scenes, Boshra AlSaadi has performed internationally with acts like TEEN and Janka Nabay &amp; the Bubu Gang, blending visual art, anti-folk, and diasporic storytelling into her music. Born in Damascus and raised in Pennsylvania, she came up through NYC’s East Village anti-folk scene while at Cooper Union, co-founded Looker (Serious Business Records), toured globally, and performed at Bonnaroo and the Kennedy Center.
After being diagnosed with muscular dystrophy in her 30s, AlSaadi turned inward, transforming her experiences into deeply personal songwriting and production. She has collaborated with NYC artists including Jennifer Vanilla and Jason McMahon, and produced records for AJ Lambert. Now based in Los Angeles, she brings her full creative force, musician, songwriter, producer, visual artist, into SAADI.
SAADI&#8217;s Birds of Paradise is out now on Switch Hit Records.

Terence Nance is an Artist, Musician, and Filmmaker born in Dallas, Texas in what was then referred to as the State-Thomas community. Nance wrote, directed, scored, and starred in his first feature film, <a href="http://ofherbeauty.com">An Oversimplification of Her Beauty,</a> which premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and was released theatrically in 2013. In 2014, he was named a Guggenheim Fellow. In the summer of 2018, Terence’s Peabody award-winning television series Random Acts of Flyness debuted on HBO to great critical acclaim, and was renewed for a second season by the network. His latest release as a musician, Vortex+, came out in early 2025.
