Tyler Taormina is a film director based in Los Angeles whose latest film, <a href="https://www.ifcfilms.com/films/christmas-eve-in-millers-point" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Christmas Eve in Miller&#8217;s Point</a>, starring Michael Cera, Elsie Fisher, Francesca Scorsese and more, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2024 and is out now in theaters through IFC Films. His debut film, Ham on Rye, premiered at the Locarno Film Festival and went on to receive critical acclaim, including Best Films of the Year from The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, Slant Magazine and more. His follow up feature, Happer’s Comet, premiered at the 2022 Berlinale and won the Special Jury Prize at the BAFICI. My Life in Shitposting 

W. Kamau Bell’s new documentary <a href="https://www.hbo.com/movies/1000-me-growing-up-mixed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">1000% Me: Growing Up Mixed</a> airs on HBO on May 2. He is a stand-up comedian and the director and executive producer of the four-part Showtime documentary, We Need To Talk About Cosby, which premiered at Sundance. He also hosts and executive-produces the Emmy Award winning CNN docu-series United Shades of America with W. Kamau Bell. His new book, Do the Work: An Antiracist Activity Book, co-written with Kate Schatz, came out in 2022. His most recent stand-up comedy special, Private School Negro, is available on Netflix. Kamau’s first book has an easy-to-remember title, The Awkward Thoughts of W. Kamau Bell: Tales of a 6&#8242; 4&#8243;, African American, Heterosexual, Cisgender, Left-Leaning, Asthmatic, Black and Proud Blerd, Mama&#8217;s Boy, Dad, and Stand-Up Comedian. Michael Gallagher is an award-winning filmmaker and digital media pioneer. He first gained recognition for creating the hit comedy series Totally Sketch and co-founding Maker Studios. In 2014, Gallagher was the grand prize winner of Guillermo Del Toro’s “House of Horrors” Short Film Competition, which landed him a script deal at Legendary. The Thinning, the first film Gallagher co-wrote, directed and produced for the studio, sold to YouTube Red in 2016 and became an instant hit. Gallagher’s other films include the mockumentary Internet Famous and the teen horror Smiley. His latest film, <a href="https://www.funnystorymovie.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Funny Story</a>, premiered at Slamdance and is in select theaters and on iTunes from May 24.

Josh Strawn is currently one half of the electronic duo Azar Swan and the lead singer of the moody metal supergroup Vaura. He was closely involved with the now-defunct Wierd Records label and party, at which time he fronted the post-punk band Blacklist and played in the psychedelic doom folk band Religious to Damn with Azar Swan co-conspirator Zohra Atash. He has contributed written works of political and cultural commentary to various publications including Flavorwire and Slutist.

He has edited, written and produced other films (King Kelly, Alice Neel, The Feature), and is a part of the filmmaking collective <a href="http://www.seethink.com/" target="_blank">SeeThink Films</a> in New York. His most recent film, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/breakingamonster" target="_blank">Breaking a Monster</a>, premiered in 2015 and played at many festivals, including SXSW, HotDocs, BAMcinemaFest, Sheffield Doc/Fest, Camden, CPH:DOX and RIDM. It is released June 24 by Abramorama.
