Ed Schrader’s Personal Guide to Nightclub Daydreaming

Erin Sanger is a writer and director whose work spans both narrative and documentary realms. She is a Wasserman Award Winner, Student Academy Award Nominee, and Webby Award Honoree. Her directorial work has been featured on ESPN, National Geographic, PBS, The Atlantic, Topic, and Hulu. She is currently completing her first feature-length documentary. She is a graduate of NYU&#8217;s Tisch School of the Arts.
Taylor Hess is a filmmaker, journalist, and contributing editor for Filmmaker Magazine. She recently wrote and directed two episodes for a Vox Media documentary series on Netflix and directed a short documentary for The Atlantic called Guts. She’s produced at Part2 Pictures and has worked at Alex Gibney’s Jigsaw Productions, the Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP), and for Scott Rudin Productions. Taylor is a graduate from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

Singer, songwriter, actress, author Nomi Ruiz was born in Sunset Park, Brooklyn and raised on a heavy dose of hip hop, freestyle, and house music. Her debut album, Lost In Lust, a gritty blend of hip-hop, R&amp;B, and soul, put her in line with a movement of artists who changed the landscape of contemporary music and she rose to prominence in the electronic dance scene after appearing on Hercules &amp; Love Affair’s self titled debut album.
She continued to venture into electronic music under the name Jessica 6 and combined dance with her natural R&amp;B/soul stylings on the debut J6 album See The Light. The sophomore J6 release The Capricorn, was called “Seductive, dark, smart, and as catchy as Miss Jackson’s greatest hits” by i-D Magazine, and her latest single &#8220;The Storm Inside&#8221; was called “The most poignantly powerful track we’ve heard so far in 2018” by BlackBook.
As an author, Ruiz has been outspoken about discrimination in the music industry and has published intimate essays on feminism, sex, romance and gender identity in Jezebel, The Fader, and more.
She made her acting debut as a guest star on Kurt Sutter’s Sons Of Anarchy spinoff Mayans on FX and is set to star in the upcoming Muay Thai drama Haymaker.

For more than twenty-five years, Amy Ray has been renowned as one half of the Grammy-award winning folk duo Indigo Girls. She is also a community activist, and has had an indie label, Daemon Records, since 1989. With her debut solo album, Stag (2001), Ray turned in her acoustic for an electric and delivered a critically acclaimed album that showed her love of punk and rock. Since then, she has released two live records and four more solo studio albums: her rock/punk records, Prom, Didn’t It Feel Kinder, Lung of Love, and her country record, Goodnight Tender, her first foray into traditional country music. Her newest live recording is called The Tender Hour and was recorded at Seattle’s Triple Door. The record features her top-notch country band playing all the tunes from Goodnight Tender as well as a few songs from her earlier releases.
