Mena Suvari currently stars in the romantic drama Grace and Grit, starring Stuart Townsend and Frances Fisher, which is out now in theaters, on digital and on-demand through Quiver Distribution. Suvari made her film debut in Gregg Araki’s 1997 cult movie Nowhere, which was followed in 1999 by the back-to-back blockbuster successes of American Pie and American Beauty. Among her other notable film credits are Rob Reiner’s Rumor Has It, Tony Scott’s Domino, Amy Heckerling’s Loser and Jonas Åkerlund’s cult-classic Spun. On TV, she reteamed with American Beauty screenwriter Alan Ball on his show Six Feet Under, played the Black Dahlia in Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story and appeared on the hit show Chicago Fire. She currently resides in Los Angeles, CA and is an active face of PETA and ardent supporter of animals.

Three Great Things: Mena Suvari

Natalie Morales is an actor, director, writer, and activist. Natalie made her solo directorial debut with the teen road-trip comedy Plan B, which premieres on Hulu May 28, and co-directed Language Lessons with Mark Duplass, which won the audience award at this year’s SXSW and will hit theaters this fall. Natalie recently starred alongside Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini in the Netflix series, Dead to Me, lent her voice to the Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and starred in the action comedy Stuber, alongside Dave Bautista and Kumail Nanjiani. She starred in NBC’s Abby’s as the titular character, and recurred on The Newsroom, Girls, Parks &amp; Recreation and Santa Clarita Diet. She also created, directed and stars in the Funny or Die series James Joyce’s Love Letters and recently directed two episodes of HBO’s Duplass Brothers anthology, Room 104. Actress Inbar Lavi is best known for her roles on Bravo’s Imposters and Fox’s Prison Break. She is currently starring as Eve in Lucifer; Part B of the show’s fifth season premieres on Netflix on May 28. During quarantine, Inbar created the brand Lavi, with all proceeds going to female-owned business hit hard by the pandemic. Inbar is also an ambassador of The Los Angeles Children’s Hospital and The Make-a-Wish Israel Foundation and volunteers at Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles, a community-run Kosher kitchen that brings people together to assist the less fortunate. Courtney Parchman is an actor and digital comedian. She currently stars opposite Jacob Artist, Shakey Graves and Johanna Braddy in The Get Together, which is available on demand via Vertical Entertainment on May 14. She began her comedy Instagram account, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/averagefashionblogger/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">@averagefashionblogger</a>, in 2018, and has since amassed over 300k followers. She has been featured in Buzzfeed, Teen Vogue and Her Campus.

Kelly Oxford is a screenwriter, author and director. Kelly&#8217;s directorial debut, Pink Skies Ahead starring Jessica Barden, which she adapted from an essay in her second book, premiered at the 2020 AFI Fest and airs on MTV at 9 p.m. on May 8, 2021. Kelly also sold her original feature Son of a Bitch to HBO Max with Anonymous Content and Stampede Ventures producing. Kelly is the author of two New York Times bestselling books for adults, Everything is Perfect When You&#8217;re a Liar and When You Find Out the World is Against You. She recently sold two Young Adult novels in auction to Penguin Random House.

Eli Saslow is an author and a journalist for The Washington Post. He won the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for explanatory reporting and has been a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in feature writing three times. He is the author of three books, including the bestselling Rising Out of Hatred, which was published in 2018 by Doubleday and won the Dayton International Peace Prize. Several of his projects have been optioned for television or film. He wrote the screenplay for Four Good Days (based on his 2016 article “How’s Amanda?”) and the film, starring Glenn Close and Mila Kunis, is out now in theaters through Vertical Entertainment. Best known for his portrayal of Walter “Flynn” White Jr. on Breaking Bad, RJ Mitte is an actor, advocate and philanthropist who has carved out his niche in Hollywood by breaking down stereotypes and changing people’s mindsets with his easy going demeanor and positive outlook. He currently stars in the inspirational wrestling drama Triumph, also Terrence Howard. At the age of three, Louisiana native Mitte was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, but that has never deterred his drive to succeed in television and film. A chance encounter with a casting director led to his move to Los Angeles and Mitte quickly landed roles on various shows such as Weeds, Vegas, Everybody Hates Chris and co-starred on ABC Family’s primetime hit show Switched at Birth, before being cast in his life-changing role on Breaking Bad. Mitte has since made his way to the big screen, starring in multiple indie films in the past few years, including Dixieland, starring in his first non-handicapped leading role, and Time Share, winner of Sundance Film Festival’s World Cinema Dramatic Special Jury Award for Screenwriting in 2018. Actor Theo Rossi will next be seen in Zack Snyder’s Army Of The Dead for Netflix releasing globally May 21, and he is currently in production on the Netflix series True Story, opposite Kevin Hart and Wesley Snipes. He was one of the stars of FX’s hit show Sons of Anarchy, playing Juan Carlos “Juice” Ortiz, and also portrayed Shades on the Marvel Netflix series Luke Cage. On the big screen, Rossi was most recently seen in Nate Parker’s American Skin, while his other notable film credits include Lowriders, opposite Demián Birchir, and Vault, also starring Don Johnson. In 2015, Rossi starred in and produced Bad Hurt, his first film with Emma Tillinger Koskoff under his DosDudes Pictures banner. When not filming, Rossi is the host of the podcast <a href="https://www.patreon.com/THEOryPOD" target="_blank" rel="noopener">THEOry</a>, with fellow actor Kim Coates and resides with his wife and two children in Austin, Texas.

Shakey Graves is the brainchild of Alejandro Rose-Garcia, who released Roll The Bones on Bandcamp in 2011 without any promotion and little information about Shakey Graves. That year, Bandcamp made it a featured album for a month and from there it has stayed among the website’s top-selling records. Rose-Garcia has released a ranging catalog since, but just released a tenth anniversary edition of Roll The Bones complete with 15 additional tracks and a new vinyl pressing.

Three Great Things: Shakey Graves

Max Richter is one of the most influential figures in contemporary music. Known for his groundbreaking work as a composer, pianist, recording artist and collaborator, he is the subject of the new documentary <a href="https://mubi.com/films/max-richter-s-sleep" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Max Richter’s Sleep</a>, which is now streaming exclusively on Mubi. He is best known for his genre-defining solo albums including The Blue Notebooks, Memoryhouse and the eight-hour epic Sleep. His 2012 record Recomposed By Max Richter: Vivaldi, The Four Seasons topped the classical charts in 22 countries. Richter has written widely for ballet, opera, and film. His most recent projects include scoring Hollywood film soundtracks, including Ad Astra starring Brad Pitt and director Josie Rourke’s historical drama Mary Queen of Scots, and music for Tom Hardy’s TV series Taboo, which earned him an Emmy nomination. Island is the latest album from Oscar-nominated composer and songwriter Owen Pallett. Almost entirely acoustic, Island begins with 13 darkened chords, and was recorded live at Abbey Road Studios with the London Contemporary Orchestra. The introduction is sound of waking up alone, and on the shore of a strange land. What follows is a shimmering and luscious orchestral album that draws across the full breadth of Pallett’s discography, from Heartland’s Technicolor to the glittering, fingerpicked guitar that marked Pallett’s first records with their trio, Les Mouches.
