Bomani J. Story is the writer, director and producer of the new horror film The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster, which is in theaters from June 9 through AllBlk, RLJE and Shudder. Bomani spent time writing his own short stories as a child and cut his teeth on filmmaking when he started making shorts at San Bernardino Valley College, before finishing his studies at USC&#8217;s school of Cinematic Arts. He wrote Rock Steady Row, which went on to win the Best Narrative Feature, and the Audience Award at 2018 Slamdance Film Festival.
