Sarah Kambe Holland is a film director based in Los Angeles. She is best known for her debut feature, <a href="https://eggheadandtwinkie.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Egghead &amp; Twinkie</a>, which she directed, wrote, co-produced and co-edited. The film, which won the Jury Award for Best Comedy Feature at the 2023 Austin Film Festival, is out now on digital. Holland also directs commercial work for the advertising agency, 21GRAMS. She specializes in branded video content for social media, relying on her background as a YouTuber and TikTok creator. In 2020, Holland developed a viral TikTok campaign to raise funds for Egghead &amp; Twinkie, amassing millions of views and growing the <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@eggheadtwinkiefilm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">@eggheadtwinkiefilm</a> account to more than 250,000 followers. Holland loves working with emerging talent and developing multi-faceted characters, with a passion for telling queer and Asian American stories. She is currently writing her second feature.

Seeing Myself in Egghead & Twinkie

Jenny Waldo’s debut feature as writer-director, <a href="http://acidtestfilm.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Acid Test</a>, is out now on digital. The coming-of-age feature adapts her festival-favorite short film of the same name and is based on her own tumble through self-discovery as a 1990’s Riot Grrrl! A graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts where she won a directing scholarship, Jenny worked on documentaries while also pursuing her passion for scripted filmmaking. Her producing credits include the indie feature The Preacher’s Daughter, which sold to Lifetime, and the feature documentary The Cutting Edge: The Magic of Movie Editing. An advocate for upcoming filmmakers, Jenny was Program Coordinator at the non-profit Southwest Alternate Media Project (SWAMP) and now teaches filmmaking at Houston Community College. From Teen to Parent and Back Again

Lou Pepe directs both documentary and fiction films, among them Lost in La Mancha, shortlisted for the Academy Award for Best Documentary and winner of the Evening Standard’s Peter Sellers Award for Best Comedy; Brothers of the Head, winner of the Michael Powell Award for Best British Feature; and The Bad Kids, which premiered at Sundance 2016 and won the Special Jury Award for Verité Filmmaking. Pepe holds an MFA in Film &amp; Media Arts from Temple University and is a fellow of the Sundance Documentary Film Program. He has collaborated with co-director Keith Fulton for over 20 years. Their most recent documentary, He Dreams of Giants, explores film director Terry Gilliam’s 27-year quest to film an adaptation of Don Quixote. Confessions of a Middle-Aged Fanboy

Michael Mohan’s new film, the erotic thriller <a href="https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09CSFX3NP/?ref=DVM_US_DL_SL_GO_AST_21VOYR_mkw_sTXIQHLhA-dc_pcrid_544725152548" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Voyeurs</a>, starring Sydney Sweeney, Justice Smith, Ben Hardy and Natasha Liu Bordizzo, is out now on Amazon Prime Video. Mohan received critical acclaim for his short film Pink Grapefruit, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival and won the Grand Jury Award for Narrative Short at SXSW Film Festival. He co-created and executive produced the Netflix original series Everything Sucks!, which he also directed. This ’90s-set coming-of-age series, which also stars Sydney Sweeney, became an instant cult favorite, as many LGBTQ+ youth across the globe still use it as a tool to help them come out to their parents. Additionally, Michael wrote and directed the independent film Save the Date starring Lizzy Caplan, Alison Brie, and Martin Starr, which premiered in competition at Sundance and later released by IFC Films. Previously, Michael was the senior coordinator at the Sundance Writing and Directing Labs, under Michelle Satter. Films developed during his time there include Taika Waititi&#8217;s Boy, Cary Fukunaga&#8217;s Sin Nombre, and Dee Rees&#8217; Pariah.
