Anna Konkle can currently be seen in the comedy thriller <a href="https://mpcafilm.com/getaway/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Untitled Home Invasion Romance</a>, starring Jason Biggs and Meagan Rath. She is the co-creator/co-star of PEN15, the critically acclaimed television series for Hulu which received Emmy nominations for Best Comedy Series and Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series for the second year in a row. Anna also directed several episodes in season 2. Her other recent TV appearances include Apple&#8217;s Murderbot, starring Alexander Skarsgard from the Weitz Brothers and the Apple+ series The Afterparty, from Lord-Miller. Anna&#8217;s memoir, <a href="https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/677456/the-sane-one-by-anna-konkle/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Sane One</a>, will be published by Random House in May. Three Great Things: Anna Konkle

Cathy Yan is a filmmaker known for her distinct aesthetic, darkly humorous tone and love for subverting typical genre rules and telling unconventional stories. Her debut film, Dead Pigs, which she wrote and directed, won the Special Jury Prize for ensemble acting at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, among several other accolades. Her latest film is <a href="https://www.birdsofpreymovie.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn</a>, which is now in theaters through Warner Bros.; she is the first Asian woman to direct a superhero genre film. Next, she is slated to direct and produce a film adaptation of Sour Hearts, a collection of short stories by Jenny Zhang, which she will co-write with Zhang. Yan studied at Princeton, where she earned her BA, and NYU, where she received a dual MFA and MBA in film. Previously, she was a reporter for the Wall Street Journal in New York, Hong Kong and China, and brings her sharp, journalistic instincts to her filmmaking. As a director, David Wilson has made several shorts and the feature doc We Always Lie to Strangers (with AJ Schnack).  As a fest director, he co-founded the True/False Film Fest (with Paul Sturtz).  As a foodie, he&#8217;s partial to no-frills Midwestern and Southern cooking and the weirder corners of molecular gastronomy.
