Bill Morrison makes films that reframe long-forgotten moving images. His short film <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oW65ChIjur4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Incident </a> was nominated for Best Non-Fiction Short at the 2024 Academy Awards and his latest film, The Vanguard Tapes, will have its <a href="https://movingimage.org/event/zodiac-killer-project/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">North American premiere</a> as part of First Look 2025 at the Museum of the Moving Image, Saturday March 15 at 8:00pm. His films have premiered at the New York, Rotterdam, Sundance, and Venice film festivals. In 2014, Morrison had a mid career retrospective at MoMA. His found-footage opus Decasia (2002) was the first film of the 21st century to be selected to the Library of Congress’ National Film Registry. The Great Flood (2013), was recognized with the Smithsonian Ingenuity Award of 2014 for historical scholarship. Dawson City: Frozen Time (2016) was included on over 100 critics’ lists of the best films of the year, and on numerous lists ranking the best films of the decade, including those of the Associated Press, Los Angeles Times and Vanity Fair. A Uniquely American Story: My Winter 2025

Molly C. Quinn is an actress and producer living in Los Angeles. Molly stars in the new horror/drama <a href="http://www.magnetreleasing.com/agnes/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Agnes</a>, which premiered at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival, and is out now through Magnet Releasing. Aside from starring in the film, Molly also executive produced the film through her production company QWGMIRE, which she formed in 2019 with Elan Gale and Matthew Welty. Molly may be best known for starring as Alexis Castle from 2009 to 2016 on the award-winning series Castle, opposite Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic, and she recently appeared in Doctor Sleep, opposite Ewan McGregor and Rebecca Ferguson. My Journey to Finding Inspiration

David Shapiro is an award-winning filmmaker based in New York. His limited non-fiction series <a href="https://www.untitledpizzamovie.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Untitled Pizza Movie</a>, which he wrote and directed, premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival and has an exclusive online run at <a href="https://metrograph.com/untitled-pizza-movie/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Metrograph</a> between February 26 and March 14. Shapiro’s feature documentaries include Missing People (2016), a nonfiction mystery following enigmatic art dealer Martina Batan as she investigates her brother&#8217;s long unsolved murder, and Keep the River on Your Right (IFC, 2001), winner of an Independent Spirit Award and a Jury Award at IDFA, based on Tobias Schneebaum&#8217;s iconic book about his life among the Harakambut People in the Amazon in the 1950s. David wrote and produced Finishing Heaven (HBO, 2009), for which he was nominated for an Emmy Award. Shapiro’s visual art has been exhibited extensively in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including shows at MoMA, the Tate, the Norton and the Brooklyn Museum. His work is included in many prominent collections, including the Tate, the Whitney and the collection of Beth Rudin DeWoody.
