Matt Walsh is a two-time Emmy-nominated actor from HBO’s award-winning comedy series Veep. He can currently be seen in the comedy Unplugging, which he produced, co-wrote and stars in opposite Eva Longoria. He is one of the UCB 4, the founding members of the famed national improv-sketch comedy theatre Upright Citizens Brigade. In addition to his film and TV work, Walsh is a charitable founder with his wife Morgan of Gender Nation, which puts LGBTQ-affirming books in elementary schools around the country, and also organizes the Turkey Bird Classic, an annual golf charity tournament which benefits Defy Ventures, an organization helping formerly incarcerated people “transform their hustle,” teaching them life skills, providing education and mentorship that gives them a second chance. Walsh currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife Morgan Walsh and their three children.

Three Great Things: Matt Walsh

Elza Kephart writes and directs horror and fantasy films. Her latest feature, the horror film<a href="https://us.rljentertainment.com/franchise/240944/SLAXX" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Slaxx</a>, is out on VOD, Digital HD and DVD on September 7, 2021 through RLJE Films. Born and raised in Tiohtià:ke (Montreal), she holds a BFA from Emerson College (Boston) and the Canadian Film Center’s Director’s Lab. At 24, she wrote and directed her first feature, Graveyard Alive – A Zombie Nurse in Love. It played in over 20 international film festivals including Fantasia, Fantasporto and Sitges, winning the Kodak Cinematography Award at the Slamdance Film Festival. It was distributed on TMN, on DVD by Maple Pictures, and in theaters. Her second feature film, Go in the Wilderness, premiered at the Festival du Nouveau Cinema, played in various international film festivals, and is being distributed on various platforms, including itunes. Slaxx had its world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival and its International Premiere at the Sitges International Film Festival in 2020. Rebecca Harrell Tickell’s documentaries include Pump, narrated by Jason Bateman, The Big Fix (an Official Selection of the 2011 Cannes Film Festival), and Fuel, the 2008 Sundance Award-winning documentary about America’s addiction to oil. At 9 years of age, Harrell Tickell was called &#8220;a plucky schemer always working an angle&#8221; by Roger Ebert, commenting on her starring role in Prancer, the 1989 MGM Christmas classic with Sam Elliott. As a filmmaker, musician, activist, public speaker and author, she is committed to telling stories that change the lives of people who are affected by environmental issues. Harrell Tickell penned the book Hot, Rich and Green!, about redefining feminism and the role of women in the environmental movement. Harrell Tickell is the co-owner of and powerhouse behind the Big Picture Ranch.
