With his time split between Big Sky wilderness and the bohemian oasis of Missoula, Izaak’s muses are varied. Sojourns to the more bustling music cities of Nashville and Los Angeles notwithstanding, Izaak’s songs can be attributed to no real regional wellspring—they’re from the State of Izaak.

Izaak Opatz Wants to Tell Other People’s Stories

David Charles Rodrigues is a Greek-American-Brazilian filmmaker and equal rights activist. Rodrigues is a Sundance New Frontier and Doc lab fellow and his feature documentary debut, Gay Chorus Deep South, had its world premiere at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival and is in now in theaters through MTV Documentary Films. His work leverages art, music and cinematic narratives to trojan-horse challenging messages into people’s hearts and minds. Rodrigues’ short films and commercials have garnered over 1 billion views online and were featured at MOCA Los Angeles, MOCA Tei Pei, The San Jose New Media Biennial, Skirball Cultural Center, The Art Directors Club, Cannes Lions and Art Basel Miami.

Best known by his stage name, Possessed By Paul James, Konrad Wert is a Golden Apple-winning special education teacher, activist, and songwriter. After gaining recognition from NPR, The New York Times, CMT, and MTV for his celebrated live performances and Billboard-charting breakout release (2013&#8217;s There Will Be Nights When I’m Lonely), Wert is returning with As We Go Wandering, out January 31, 2020. As We Go Wandering digs in deep to call out truth and hope, drawing attention to issues of poverty and violence in public education. Flowing from the dual streams of Wert&#8217;s Mennonite background and his time in the Austin punk scene, As We Go Wandering is a juxtaposition, a folk album for 2020 tending a warm light of hope in the dark cold of winter, where peace, rest, and movement dance hand in hand.
