Fatih Akin is an internationally acclaimed filmmaker’s whose latest film, the World War II drama <a href="https://kinolorber.com/film/amrum" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Amrum</a>, starring Diane Kruger, is in theaters now through Kino Lorber. Among his many notable films as writer-director are his 2004 film Head-On, which won the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival; The Edge of Heaven (2007), which won Best Screenplay at the Cannes Film Festival, followed by the European Film Award; Soul Kitchen (2009), which won the Special Jury Prize in competition at Venice; In the Fade (2017), starring Diane Kruger, which won numerous awards, including Best Actress (Diane Kruger) in Cannes and the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film. Paul Banks is a musician, songwriter and singer from New York, noted for fronting one of New York’s most admired and respected bands, Interpol. Interpol’s debut album, Turn On The Bright Lights, and the follow-up, Antics, are widely acknowledged as the soundtrack for the lower east side of New York in the 2000s, two of the city’s defining albums, each amassing 1 million sales worldwide and US Gold status. Interpol has since progressed through generations and seven studio albums to scale new heights in 2024, playing the biggest live show on record in Mexico City to upwards of 200,000 at Zócalo Square, and headlining shows including L.A.’s Hollywood Bowl, New York’s Forest Hills Stadium, and numerous others worldwide. Paul has released music in various other guises; partnering with Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA as Banks &amp; Steelz, with Josh Kaufman and the Walkmen’s Matt Barrick as Muzz, and as a solo artist both as Julian Plenti and under his own name. Paul’s debut film score and OST for the film <a href="https://www.magnetreleasing.com/sistermidnight/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sister Midnight</a> is released, whilst Interpol works on new music set for 2026.

Frank Grillo is currently starring in the thriller Ida Red, opposite Josh Hartnett, William Forsythe and Melissa. He portrayed the fan-favorite villain Crossbones in Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War and is the face of Universal’s Purge franchise as Sergeant Leo Barnes. His other notable film roles include Warrior, The Grey, Zero Dark Thirty, This is the Night and Donnybrook and he brought his trademark intensity and real-life boxing and martial arts expertise to the small screen playing the lead in the DirecTV series Kingdom. In 2016, Grillo and writer-director Joe Carnahan launched a production company, Warparty, which has produced such projects as the high-concept action thriller Wheelman, the documentary series Fightworld, the action thriller Point Blank, an action thriller starring Grillo and Anthony Mackie, and Boss Level, an action sci-fi thriller starring Grillo, Mel Gibson and Naomi Watts.
