Sadie Dupuis is the guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter of rock band Speedy Ortiz. She&#8217;s also the producer &amp; multi-instrumentalist behind pop project Sad13. Sadie heads the record label Wax Nine, has written for outlets including Spin, Nylon, and Playboy, and holds an MFA in poetry from UMass Amherst. Mouthguard, her first book, was published in 2018.

Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 1945, Homer Flynn spent the first twenty-four years of his life submerged in the repressed but charming naiveté of The South. Seduced by the fantasy of easy sex, cheap drugs and loud music, Flynn was unwilling to commit to the life of a concrete truck dispatcher attached to a pregnant, but unloved girlfriend and fled to San Francisco in 1969. Guilty, but free, he drank deeply from the cup of youth culture, ingesting, imbibing and fornicating any and all.
For over forty years, Homer Flynn has been involved with the murky aesthetics of San Francisco&#8217;s music, performance and video group, the Residents. As their chief visual designer and co-owner of The Cryptic Corporation, the Residents&#8216; business and public relations interface, Flynn has been involved in nearly all of the group&#8217;s improbable projects since the mid 1970s. Currently, he lives in the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco with his charming wife, Leigh Barbier.

Irmin Schmidt is a keyboardist, composer and founding member of the group Can. He has scored more than forty soundtracks and written an opera, Gormenghast, based on the novels by Mervyn Peake. In 2015, he was made a Chevalier of the French Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. He lives in southern France.

Mike Figgis is the renowned filmmaker and musician whose career began with the People Show in the 1970s. His film credits include Stormy Monday, Internal Affairs, Miss Julie, Timecode and Hotel. He received Oscar nominations for Best Director and Best Screenplay for Leaving Las Vegas. His photographs have been displayed at galleries throughout the world, and he has created installations for gallery spaces. His latest work, <a href="https://megadoc.utopia.film/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Megadoc</a>, a documentary chronicling the making of Francis Ford Coppola&#8217;s epic film Megalopolis, is out now in theaters. Mike is currently in pre-production on a TV series.

Born and raised in New York City, Jonathan Levine has been making films since the age of 12. A graduate of Brown University&#8217;s Art/Semiotics program and the AFI Conservatory, he made his directorial debut in 2006 with All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, following it up two years later with The Wackness, starring Josh Peck and Ben Kingsley, which won the Audience Award at Sundance and an Independent Spirit Award nod for Best First Screenplay. Isaac Marion grew up in the mossy depths of the Pacific Northwest, where he worked as a heating installer, a security guard and a visitation supervisor for foster children before publishing his debut novel in 2010. Warm Bodies became a New York Times bestseller and inspired a major film adaptation. It has been translated into 25 languages. Isaac lives in Seattle with his cat, Watson, writing fiction and music and taking pictures of everything. Michael &#8220;Woody&#8221; Woodmansey was the drummer for David Bowie&#8217;s The Spiders from Mars from 1969-1973 on the hit albums The Man Who Sold the World, Hunky Dory, and The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars. Born in Driffield, Yorkshire, in 1951, he is the last surviving member of The Spiders from Mars. He continues to play with his band Holy Holy and lives in London.

His literary debut was the poetry chapbook Wadded Leaves (1974). He quickly went on to his famed series of find-a-word-puzzles, for which he received the prestigious Stiggs Prize in Gamesmanship. A number of his instructive pamphlets for the FDA were collected in his humorous travel memoir File Under Queasy. He lives with his sister Penelope in a converted glue factory on the shores of Lake Michigan. His forthcoming The Hauntings at the Old Glue Factory is based upon his own experiences.
