A Movie is a Yearbook

Haley Elizabeth Anderson is a filmmaker and visual artist born in Houston, Texas. Her debut feature, Tendaberry, had its world premiere at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, playing in the NEXT section and had its hometown premiere at the First Look film festival at the Museum of the Moving Image. Her short Pillars premiered at Sundance and won Best Short Film at AFI Fest in 2020. Named one of Filmmaker magazine’s “25 New Faces of Independent Film” in 2019, Anderson is currently developing her second feature, Coyote Boys, with support from SFFILM, Gotham, Tribeca, Sundance, Ucross Foundation, and Film Independent.

Tendaberry: A Places Album

Erica Schmidt is a playwright, screenwriter, and theatre director. <a href="https://www.unitedartistsreleasing.com/cyrano/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cyrano</a>, for which she wrote the screenplay (her first), is in theaters through United Artists on February 25, starring Peter Dinklage, Haley Bennet, Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Ben Mendelsohn. In 2001 she was honored with the Princess Grace Award, given by the foundation of the same name. She directed her adaptation Cyrano, collaborating with members of the band The National, at the Goodspeed Opera House and off-Broadway at The New Group. She directed her adaptation Mac Beth at Seattle Rep and off-Broadway at the Lucille Lortel Theatre and HTP, receiving Drama Desk Award nominations for Outstanding Direction and Outstanding Revival as well as a Lucille Lortel Award nomination. Among her other stage directorial credits are Richard 2, starring Robert Sean Leonard, at The Old Globe; A Month in the Country, starring Taylor Schilling and Peter Dinklage, at the Classic Stage Company; Trust, with The Play Company, for which she received a Callaway Award nomination; and chashama, at the New York International Fringe Festival, where she received the Best Direction award. She co-created, co-wrote, and directed the play Humor Abuse, which won her a Lucille Lortel Award for its production at the Manhattan Theatre Club.

Since appearing on the scene in 2013, Crick’s versatility as a keyboardist led him far and wide, making a name for himself as a cult figure amongst alt-music fanatics. With a modest reputation for performing alongside a diverse array of international artists, Crick has played with Kirin J. Callinan, Weyes Blood, Connan Mockasin, and Iggy Pop.

Jay Giampietro is a writer, director, actor and musician whose short films have played the New York Film Festival, BAMcinemaFest, and the Montclair and Maryland Film Festivals. His short film Hernia won the 2015 Hammer to Nail Summer Shorts contest and he made his acting debut in the feature Stinking Heaven, which was distributed by Factory 25. His <a href="https://www.instagram.com/jaygiampietro/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">street photography</a> capturing the eccentric denizens of New York City has been praised by The Village Voice, British GQ and The Guardian and is the subject of Joe Stankus&#8217; short documentary <a href="https://vimeo.com/257314493" target="_blank" rel="noopener">I’ve Never Been A Fisherman</a>. His most recent short films are <a href="https://vimeo.com/314395817" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Quarterbacks</a> (2018) and <a href="https://vimeo.com/245097348" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Unpresidented</a> (2017).

Iva Radivojevic is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker who spent her early years in Yugoslavia and Cyprus. Her films have screened at NYFF, SXSW, Rotterdam IFF, HotDocs, Museum of Modern Art (NYC), PBS, New York Times Op-Docs. She is the recipient of the 2015 Guggenheim Fellowship, 2011-12 Princess Grace Special Project Award and Film Fellowship and was named one of the “25 New Faces of Independent Film” by Filmmaker magazine.
