Sabrina Jaglom is an L.A.-native writer and director. Most recently, she directed the feature film Jane, which she co-wrote with Rishi Rajani. The film stars Madelaine Petsch, Chlöe Bailey and Melissa Leo, and will be released on August 26 in theaters. Additionally, two scripted podcasts that she wrote and directed were released this past May: Listening In, starring Rachel Brosnahan, for QCode, and Wheel Woman, for iHeartRadio. She has worked in production on various projects before working in film and TV development at Fox Lit and Whalerock Industries. She then went on to serve as an associate producer on the feature film Home Again. Sabrina has directed multiple award-winning music videos and short films, the most recent of which, Unforgettable, premiered on Watch Dust’s platform. She has also directed various stage productions, including the West Coast premiere of Empathitrax as well as This Party Sucks, produced by Val Kilmer’s HelMel. She studied at RADA in London, FAMU in Prague, and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she graduated with a BFA in Film &amp; Television.

Vincent Grashaw&#8216;s latest film, the horror thriller <a href="https://www.shudder.com/movies/watch/what-josiah-saw/b47611958e68455a" target="_blank" rel="noopener">What Josiah Saw</a>, starring Robert Patrick, Nick Stahl, Scott Haze, Kelli Garner and Tony Hale, is now streaming exclusively on Shudder. Grashaw made his directorial debut with Coldwater, an intense juvenile reform drama that premiered at the 2013 SXSW Film Festival and was released theatrically in 2014, and followed it up with the intense high-school drama And Then I Go, starring Arman Darbo, Sawyer Barth, Melanie Lynskey and Justin Long. Grashaw produced Evan Glodell&#8217;s critically acclaimed Bellflower, receiving an Independent Spirit Award nomination for the John Cassavetes Award, as well as the forthcoming Chuck Hank and the San Diego Twins, starring David Arquette, Troian Bellisario and Olivia Taylor Dudley.

The Films That Shaped Me – and the Teenage Movie That Made Me a Director

Jenny Gage is an an accomplished writer-director and photographer. Jenny’s first film, <a href="http://www.factorytwentyfive.com/all-this-panic/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">All This Panic</a>, premiered at Tribeca and was released theatrically in March 2017. Shot over three years, the documentary takes an intimate look at the interior lives of a group of teenage girls as they come of age in Brooklyn and received glowing reviews from such publications as the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times and The Hollywood Reporter. Jenny’s first narrative feature, After, starring Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes-Tiffin and based on the internationally best-selling novel by Anna Todd, was released by Aviron Pictures/Voltage in 2019. It went on to gross $70 million globally. As a photographer, Jenny has had her work with her partner Tom Betterton published in the pages of Vanity Fair, W magazine, and Vogue, and installed in numerous galleries and museums, including in the permanent collections of the Whitney and MOMA. Jenny is based in Los Angeles.

Richard Tanne’s new film Chemical Hearts which he wrote, directed and produced for Amazon Studios, is out now on Prime Video. The coming-of-age drama, starring Lili Reinhart and Austin Abrams, is based on Krystal Sutherland’s beloved novel Our Chemical Hearts, an unexpected story about teenage love and loss. Tanne made his writing and directing debut with Southside With You, which premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival, was purchased by Miramax and Roadside Attractions, and earned Tanne a Gotham Award nomination for Breakthrough Director and the Rotten Tomatoes Award for the Best-Reviewed Romance of the Year. The film, a romantic drama about Barack and Michelle Obama’s first date, was released theatrically worldwide and went on to gross six times its micro-indie budget.

Aron Eli Coleite is the showrunner and executive producer of Daybreak, which premiered on October 24 on Netflix, starring Matthew Broderick. Aron is also the Executive Producer of Locke &amp; Key, an adaptation of Joe Hill’s graphic novel, premiering on Netflix in 2020. Previously, Coleite worked on Season 1 of CBS’ Star Trek Discovery where he received a Saturn Award and a Hugo Nomination for his work. He got his start on the acclaimed NBC series Heroes and on the feature side, he recently adapted the iconic, best-selling graphic novel Amulet for 20th Century Fox with Temple Hill producing. Why I’m Still Reliving High School

Lou Pepe directs both documentary and fiction films, among them Lost in La Mancha, shortlisted for the Academy Award for Best Documentary and winner of the Evening Standard’s Peter Sellers Award for Best Comedy; Brothers of the Head, winner of the Michael Powell Award for Best British Feature; and The Bad Kids, which premiered at Sundance 2016 and won the Special Jury Award for Verité Filmmaking. Pepe holds an MFA in Film &amp; Media Arts from Temple University and is a fellow of the Sundance Documentary Film Program. He has collaborated with co-director Keith Fulton for over 20 years. Their most recent documentary, He Dreams of Giants, explores film director Terry Gilliam’s 27-year quest to film an adaptation of Don Quixote.
