Pickathon Presents: Damien Jurado and Cedric Burnside

Check out interviews and performances from the Portland festival that’s unlike any other.

Since 1998, the Pickathon festival has brought together an intimate audience and some incredible performers to a farm outside of Portland, Oregon. Unlike festivals that tend to attract the same names, Pickathon operates outside the mainstream, resulting in bookings — and, more importantly, experiences — unlike any other. Talkhouse is excited to partner with Pickathon to present videos from the 2019 festival, specifically those filmed at the festival’s Lucky Barn stage. Today we’ve got the first two, which include songs and interviews with Damien Jurado and Cedric Burnside. Jurado is interviewed by music writer Jonathan Zwickel, while Burnside spoke with Stacy Lee. Going forward, we’ll be releasing a new Pickathon video on the first Tuesday of every month, leading up to the 2020 festival, which will take place July 30 - August 2, 2020.
