Let Prince Rama’s Nimai Larson Take You on a SXSW Food Quest

Nimai is taking over the Talkhouse Instagram — and making your mouth water — down in Austin, Texas.

Austin, Texas, is about bats, natural springs, hiking and biking trails, warm sun, and friendly people all maintaining the "Keep Austin Weird" motto that locals live by and tourists appreciate. But all of that is just kindling for the greater fire that is the Austin food scene. Here, the food is spicy, sweet, fresh, juicy, confident, imaginative and authentic. And, as I cross the border to my home state, I remember everything really is bigger in Texas! Including my appetite.

My band, Prince Rama, is here in Austin for the legendary music festival South by Southwest; it’s our eighth year performing. Playing, meeting new people and watching other fantastic bands is certainly a big part the festival scene, but I've been lucky enough to be given the opportunity to give a voice to another integral part of SXSW: the fuel that keeps us musicians going! I'm excited to take over The Talkhouse’s Instagram to show y'all a little taste of the Austin food scene amidst the loud chaos...
