Nicholas Ashe Bateman

Nicholas Ashe Bateman is a writer, director, and visual artist from Baltimore, Maryland. In addition to his own films, he has most recently served as a visual effects supervisor for David Lowery’s The Green Knight and Topside, with additional design and effects work on Wendy, Save Yourselves!, Free Solo, and currently Peter Pan and Wendy. The Wanting Mare, Bateman’s directorial debut and the first story set within his fictional world of Anmaere, is in cinemas and on VOD from February 5 through Gravitas Ventures.
