Marc Maurino

Award-winning filmmaker Marc Maurino is the creator, executive producer, and writer of the critically-acclaimed Quibi show #FreeRayshawn starring Stephan James and Laurence Fishburne, and also executive produced by Antoine Fuqua. Maurino started his career as an intern for prominent indie filmmakers Christine Vachon and Todd Haynes. A working screenwriter for the past nine years, he has sold and developed several feature films and TV pilots to companies such as Showtime and CBS Films, including a human trafficking series that he developed with legendary director Michael Mann. Currently, Maurino is producing and packaging the undercover federal agent crime thriller Inside the Machine, another original screenplay that he wrote which is eyeing a 2021 production start.
