Evan Patterson

The versatile Louisville, Kentucky-based artist Evan Patterson is primarily known for his creative work as a singer, songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist in the bands Young Widows and Jaye Jayle. In his late teens and early twenties, Patterson met many of his musical contemporaries (including Brian Cook) while playing in the revered hardcore bands, The National Acrobat and Breather Resist. Patterson – an accomplished visual artist and draftsman – recently released his first book of illustrations to launch his new publishing imprint and record label, Future Heart Works. From 2017 to 2019, he was a touring member and performer in Emma Ruth Rundle’s band. Earlier this year, under his Jaye Jayle moniker, he released a new album titled After Alter. Most recently, his most known and lauded endeavor, Young Widows, released their first album in eleven years, titled Power Sucker.
