Chrysta Bell, actress and longtime musical partner of David Lynch, released her sophomore album, We Dissolve, in June 2017. She is currently appearing in Twin Peaks in the role of FBI Agent Tamara Preston, acting alongside Miguel Ferrer and David Lynch. Lynch, who wrote and produced Chrysta Bell’s 11-song debut, This Train (2011), as well as her acclaimed 2016 EP, Somewhere in the Nowhere, says that she “is not only a killer performer, she also has a great intuitive ability to catch a mood and find a melody that’s really spectacular,” and recalls, “The first time I saw her perform, I thought she was like an alien. The most beautiful alien ever.” Bell’s professional career as musician began after being signed by RCA Victor at the age of 18 as the lead vocalist for the popular Austin-based gypsy swing act 8 ½ Souvenirs. In her four-year tenure with the band, Chrysta Bell delighted audiences on many North American tours and shared the stage with legendary musicians such as Willie Nelson and Brian Setzer.
