Asghar Farhadi

Asghar Farhadi is an Iranian writer-director who won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film for both his 2011 feature A Separation and his 2016 feature The Salesman. He has also won a Golden Globe, a Cesar, the Golden Bear at the Berlinale and the Palme d’Or at Cannes, among many other accolades.
